What does it mean when I have to travel to a remote African mountain village to be able to flip a switch in my hotel room so I can tie my shoes by solar powered light bulbs? Yeah, it was a pit long drop, and the shared sink had sporadic water pressure - at best, but they lulled us to sleep with a tiny FM transmitter radio playing the best ska reggae I've heard in a long long time. Mwivano, best one star ever.

Sunrise at Matemwe

Matemwe Beach in Zanzibar was prolly one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen. Sort of felt like I fell off the face of the earth and landed on a beach.
