The Transformation of Dubai
It's astounding to walk the streets of Dubai and realize it was only founded in 1971. It gives hope that Iraq can be rebuilt, not quickly, but at least rebuilt.
They are building a new airport in Dubai and while I don't know the exact size think ten times the size of Hopkins, at least. Construction cranes are everywhere. Build. Build. Build. It also the most prostitutes of any place I've ever been. Sort of the UN of prostitution. Somali, China, Ukraine, Uganda, Thailand, Russia. It's quite a contrast with woman in full black abayas.
