I'm honestly pooped. And I have a six am at Operations to see what time my bird flys. I really haven't had a vacation since January. Turkey was a flurry of activity and eighteen hour days, though it was fun, and Kuwait was work. Outside of that I think I've had two days off since January. Frickin tired.

Anywho, Hong Kong Wednesday night then to main land China the first or second, working our way north through the countryside (Yangshuo) and then north to Xian, Shanghai and then ending in Beijing. I'm geeked about China, but I wish I had more time to read history. The Search for Modern China looks great but sadly it weighs about five pounds so it ain't going with, but Soul Mountain is. I think I read the book was banned in China so it'll be interesting if they let a crew cut American with Iraq stamped in his passport in their country with a banned book. So, just how open is China? I'm thinking it's pretty open.

I'd like to blog from the road but I'm not sure if I want to lug the laptop. It's going with to Baghdad so I'll see. It'd be fun to travel and write.

Anyways, the next two days are pure travel days, no work, just reading, movies, and sleep, glorious sleep.
